Day 10: Great Lakes Act Minister of Natural Resources

When tweeting yesterday's post, I found out today is Ontario Premier McGuinty's birthday!  I scrapped the previous letter and included something a bit more festive!

Today's letter was back to the more formal version. Text below:

To: Minister of Natural Resources Hon Michael Bravelle,

I agree with Environmental Defence that we should do more to protect the Great Lakes. I would like to summarize many of the main points from their petition as follows:

The US is already benefiting by investing millions in creating jobs through restoration and conservation of the lakes. Let's revv things up to this level, and make the Great Lakes Protection Act strong: addressing upstream pollution, protecting remaining wetlands, and forward thinking enough to deal with the impacts of climate change and population growth.

Thank you, I'm excited to see this happen!
